We carved human–sized wooden sculptures with artist Sarah Fiander, weaving stories around them with the assistance of Gordon Maclellan, aka ‘’Creeping Toad’. The sculptures are sited in the picnic area of Grinlow Wood and Poole’s Cavern (Buxton Country Park).
The workshops were in Education Room at Poole’s Cavern.
Our own group, and Yr 5 of Burbage Primary School also created stories and poems about the sculptures, to be found in a special booklet.
