Buxton Project eARTh have just started making papier mache animals with artist Patty Callaghan.
We started by learning the easy way to tear newspaper into straight strips – tearing downwards from the slightly jagged edge of the newspaper pages, rather than the straight edges – who knew? (Not me…every day is a school day, as they say) .
It looks like we will have a lion, a hamster, a guinea pig, a fox, and several dogs and cats by the end of the project. A fun and relaxing afternoon.
