Youth and Community Arts for the High Peak
Unveiling and Celebration of this Woodland Mosaic project, created by Project eARTh participants, with Debra Tracey. Take a short stroll with us through the woods and see the mosaic artwork and then enjoy some refreshments and a display of the projects progression. Meet at the entrance to Gamesley Woodlands, off Long Lane, between Charlesworth and Broadbottom at just before 11am! The event is free and open to all.
Please join us for this engaging evening in Glossop on Saturday April 11th – discovering Glossop’s industrial history and sharing your own tales of bygone times! Bradbury House and Glossop Market from 2.30pm with a free building projection show at 7.30pm!
HPCA was established in 1979 to work with people using the arts, over the years we have developed and delivered a huge range of projects and worked with people from all walks of life. we have of course seen a lot of changes and faced one or two pretty big challenges in this time. So this year 2014, we want to celebrate, not just our birthday, but some of our projects and the work in the High Peak. YOU, being the most important part of the work, are invited.
In the run up, we have started to think about what we might like to do to celebrate, we are thinking of a party (of course) but also exhibitions, workshops that sort of thing. We also thought it would be a good idea to ask you for any suggestions or ideas about what we could do to celebrate our 35th year. So if you have any ideas then please get in touch.. we will consider all suggestions!!! We want to celebrate with a bang and hope to have events throughout the year, so if you have any thoughts or maybe you took part in a project all those years ago, then we want to hear from you.
